GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS
Topic: Future of Supply Chain Management.
This is a research-oriented assignment. The objective is to identify incoming changes to the global supply chain, subsequently challenges, and opportunities to industries in North America. Some key points for you to consider:
• Analyzing the global supply chain operations that have been formed since 1980s: what have made the global supply chain possible? what are characteristics of the global supply chain operations?
• Analyzing major changes in business landscape since 2018 due to geopolitics, economic, COVID-19 and technological developments. What are their impacts on the global supply chain operations? What do they mean to industries in North America?
• Recommendation and Conclusion.
You must research at least five recent (i.e., less than 10 years) peer-reviewed articles, preferably highly regarded industry sources, e.g., Harvard Business Review, IBM, SAP, McKinsey, Accenture, Deloitte, Capgemini.
SPECIFIC REQUIREMENTS
1. Your report must adhere to APA formatting.
2. The structure for the paper is not fixed, if there is a logical flow of analysis and discussion. The length of the paper is not an issue, but preferably in range of 3,000 words (equivalent to 10 pages, excluding Cover, Executive Summary, Contents and Appendix).
